Hey, Wil - good to see ya :)

No, that was my step-daughter. She went into the Army, did pretty well - and then was medically-retired about a year back due to damage to her knees she sustained during Basic because they never did find boots to fit her :banghead:

Congratulations

My grand daughter is now 16 but she started shooting at 6 but with 22’s. At 10 she wanted to shoot skeet so I bought her a 20 ga.She did well but by time she was 12 she wanted to try my 12 ga. Needless to say she now has a Remington 1100 (was mine) and just got her a Mossberg 500 all in 12ga. At 12 she was 5’6” and about 85 lbs. she is now 6’ and around 110 lbs. at 17. She still loves to shoot but bowling has gotten her heart

I was a shotgun-coach - I know how to do it. I also know the value of letting them get lazy while I hold my tongue and let them feel it for themselves; the result encourages doing it right.

Excellent shooting. The important thing is that she had fun.
