Boys will be boys. If it were not for them life would be much less interesting.
SAHM to four precious children. Wife to a loving husband.

My son once used a plyers rather than a bottle opener to open a bottle of coke. Didn't work well but he didn't get hurt. Did have a lot of carpet to clean though.

My favorites are the deep fat fried turkey on wood deck under covered porch stories.

Nothing like sticking a frozen turkey into a deep fryer.philip964 wrote:My favorites are the deep fat fried turkey on wood deck under covered porch stories.

I work on ships. at the beginning or a watch put a raw baking potato in tin foil and put it onto the top of the auxi boiler. Toppings in foil about an hour later. Half way through the watch (2hrs). Just after getting the log in and rounds, tasty snack awaits!
It is a cliche that most cliches are true, but then like most cliches, that cliche is untrue.

During off-road events, I heat tamales on the engine block of my land cruiser.
Inline six engine with a 2x18 inch gap on top of the block. Drop the foil wrapped tamales in the gap and they heat up nicely in about 15 minutes.

1. Did this come from MacGyver? Those clips work for everything.
2. This reminds me of when I had that vinyl pool. My buddy and I would set the auto sprinklers and get in. After drinking a few the cold sprinklers would come and cool us off in 100 degree heat.

That's a woman. While it does show "gender equality" to include her in the list of "people doing stupid things," it's a rules violation for the purposes of this thread.

Way back in days of M113 APCs we wired a basket in the engine compartment when we went into the field. Toss the c-rats in after breakfast, they'd be ready at lunch.Diesel42 wrote:During off-road events, I heat tamales on the engine block of my land cruiser.

Yes bit you took them out before you did a road march. You ever try to scrub beans from an exploded can, out of the engine compartment after a 3 hour road march in a 3/4. The spaghetti and meatballs were worse on a XM577.jmorris wrote:Way back in days of M113 APCs we wired a basket in the engine compartment when we went into the field.
