Now I can put some faces with names, not that I will remember in 24 hours from now.
Hope to make another breakfast soon. Now after a Kelly's breakfast to make room for a Mexican lunch I was told I am taking my wife a d one of my daughters to.
Enjoyed seeing some new faces. I probably won't remember first names by this evening. I'm wasn't sure if the name of the motorcycle rider. I forgot to ask if he introduced himself by first name or screen name. Anyway looking forward to the next one.

Enjoyed meeting you, boxermoose. The MC rider I was referring to was Leo , LDB415, I think I missed you saying you rode. I'm hard of hearing and I thought you said your screen name was simply moose.

It was good meeting you. I must be hard of hearing too, because I thought it was "moose".

When I got home, I was surprised when I checked the membership and couldn't find you. :headscratch

I agree that Kelley's is the place to meet. The food, service and price is much better than the competition.

It is also nice to eat at a family-owned restaurant. Especially one that is owned by a retired LEO.

Sorry that I missed the breakfast. I had to take my wife on an emergency trip to the UH dental school. I do hope to make the next meeting when its date, time, & place are noted. I am looking forward to meeting some forward-thinking folks.

The next one will be June 5 at 8:30. Unless the group decides otherwise it will be at the Kelley's in Pearland. We are having them the first Friday of every month. Originally I thought there might be 3 to 5 groups that would form to have their own breakfasts in their general area, ours for the south side, maybe a Sugarland/southwest group, a Katy/JV west/northwest group, a Spring north Houston group or whatever. Anyway, we'll look forward to seeing you next time. Check back to see if the group wants to try somewhere else next time.

Now that we can all breathe easier with the passage of the bills SB273, SB11 and HB910, it's time to get to more pertinent issues. :biggrinjester: Where we gonna eat Friday? Kelley's Pearland still workd for me.

I'm fine with the same place, if that's more convenient for people.

I will be a no-show again this month. Which is apparently now the norm for me (haven't made one since March). I've just started a new job that takes me clear to the other side of the world (I-45 & FM-1960). Once I have some vacation time accrued, I may try to make a breakfast in the next few months.

Looks like I will be a miss this go-around. Both my daughters are graduating highshool Friday so my day has been spoken for.
I am sure I will miss some great after the session stories.
I love the sound smell of jet fuel in the morning.

I haven't heard anything to the contrary so I'll be at Kelley's Pearland at 8:30.

July falls on 7/3. What does everyone want to do for July? I'm fine with the 3 or 10 either one or we can move it up to 6/26. Whatever the majority wants works for me.
