This looks pretty good and very simple to make:

Now that I look at the video again, I think that I would require two weaves per sandwich.

If I can remember, I'll try this the next time we make BLT's and I won't tell the ladies in the house about it and see what they think. Yum!

Those would fit on a burger. Or a waffle.

:iagree: I thought about the fried egg sandwich too, but not hard fried.
It's a bit messy, but I like the yolk dripping on the bread.

Oh. My. Gosh.

That is so cool. Except that I dunno I wanna start the oven to do bacon, that rack-over-the-top trick is great too.

Somebody needs to weave & pre-cook those for sale and I'm all-in. Anyone here work for HEB? ;-)

I tried this tonight and it was wonderful. The BLT is my wife's favorite sandwich. She was not feeling well tonight and I made this for her and she thinks I am brilliant.
Thanks WildBill! :tiphat:

I thought I would share this with those of you who like to smoke meat. It is delicious. You better make extra because it is hard for some reason to get from the smoker back to the house...

Thick Sliced Smoked Bacon (Wright brand is what I use from Sam's)
½ Cup Brown Sugar
¼ Cup Bbq Rub (home made or store bought)"
½ tea Cayenne Pepper
I use a cookie sheet and a full size cooling rack to make clean up easy. Just cover the cookie sheet with aluminum foil, sit the rack on the sheet, and spray the cooling rack with cooking spray. The mess won’t be bad at all and it keeps your smoker clean too.

Combine the Brown Sugar, Rub, and Cayenne in a bowl and Lay the strips of bacon out on the wire cooling rack and dust each side with a generous amount of the sugary mixture. I go extra heavy. Fire up the cooker to 350 degrees and place the pan in the center. The total cook time is about 45 min – 1 hour.

Flip each piece of bacon over half way through the process. The sugar mixture caramelizes over the bacon and gives it a sticky, candy coating. The bacon strips should be bendable not crispy. After they cool for 30 minutes, it will harden a little. Just leave it on the wire racks and leave it alone…..if you can. The first rack always disappears before it has time to cool.
