For me: Coppertone Sun Tan Oil, Tar boiling in a tar kettle, White Shoulders perfume/ Mud Flats, Fresh cut water melon and that's just what immediately comes to mind. There's of course more...

My Mom wore "Joy" by Jean Patou, I still gift the ladies in my life with this scent.
The smell of alkali on the breeze off of a dry lake bed.
The aromatic bouquet of sage, the leaves crushed as you pushed your horse through the brush and scrub.
Cow grilling on a mesquite fire.
"Caesar si viveret, ad remum dareris!"

Unfortunately that original Joy formulation is no longer available to due the unavailability of some of the materials.

For me childhood/adolesence was Vicks Vaporub, Old Spice, and Hai Karate.

Any cattle barn where the cows have stayed the day; aramis cologne; raw oil fresh out of the ground; Jungle Gardenia by Tuvache. Really, to many to mention.
