Trump speaks in Houston!
I thought he came close to a major blunder talking about Harvey last night. I found myself holding my breath several times. Otherwise, was fun to watch. Was amusing to see several cutovers to people in the audience laughing about some of Trump’s Yankee vernacular. Looked like everyone was having a good time.

Amazing that there was 100,000 ticket requests.
Greg Abbott is a great speaker. Cruz and Dan Patrick as well. Trump did great, except for his Harvey talk about the Coast Guard, he has said before that people went out in the hurricane in little boats and they needed to be rescued by the Coast Guard. It was ill informed then, worse in front of Houstonians. Not sure who told him that, but he needs never to mention it again.

Everyone mentioned the second amendment. Cruz had Beto in the crosshairs with his votes in the House and an F from the NRA. Trump would have been the best speaker, if he had kept it to a half an hour, but he talked for at least an hour, and many people began leaving. Its hard to keep everyone at a high energy for that long as he was speaking past 8 pm. Most had been in line since before noon and had not eaten or had anything to drink for a long time. (I didn't have lunch) Only a 1/10 of the Toyota center vendors were open, so the lines for anything were impossible.

Everything that was said by all with the single exception of the little boats comment was right on the money.

I agree, the little boat discussion was very odd, I thought he was talking about the Cajin Navy at first. One wrong word in that story would have sunk him. Very dangerous territory he was in!

Why are you even on this forum? Isn't there some left wing radical hangout you could go to?

It is so typical of the leftists to play two faced games. Never mind that Maxine Waters, Eric Holder, Sparticus and other Demo-Rats call for violence, in very clear terms. Ignore these calls for violence and then claim somehow people chanting fake news is violent. Simply disgusting.

I think he knows exactly where he was posting. Whatever HRC is (and that's a loaded question with no clear answer), no one has been able to outdo trump for his record for lies, falsehoods and general untruths... it is genuinely impressive. Almost as mind boggling as those who listen to the baseless assertions with a straight face without question. Just more proof that Barnum was right, and the GOP seems to be full of suckers waiting for the next lie to repeat as gospel.

You are exactly right (for a change) I will be able to retire, based on my 401k performance in the last 2 years, I do have a more lucrative job than I had under Obama, I have contracts for 2 years worth of work backed up and we just hired another person...

I don't give a crap if he's arrogant
I don't give a crap if he's boastful
I don't care if he says everything is the best (even if only 3/4ths is)
He may be a horse's behind, but he is doing what he promised and my family is in much better shape than in the last 10-15 years. And thanks to his scotus picks, I feel much better about the future as well.

I love the irony in someone posting about Trump's lies and then supplies a link to WAPO. Same people also quote Huffpo and other leftist propaganda machines to support their positions.
