Race relations and 'position' of minorities better under Trump than Obama
Satisfaction with race relations in the United States has jumped under President Trump, the latest indication that the Republican is making significant inroads with blacks and other minorities in advance of the 2020 presidential election.

New details from a Gallup survey on satisfaction said race relations and the “position” of minorities under Trump are far higher than they were under President Barack Obama, the nation’s first black president.
Jeepers, Trump's not any better at being a white supremacist than he is being a Russian stooge. ;-)

Speaking of which:

Standoff: U.S. troops block Russian forces from capturing Syrian oil field

Interestingly the news about the US forces blocking Russian access to the oil fields seems to appear only in the Washington Times, some middle eastern news outlets, and various conservative political sites in the US. Newsweek did mention it as part of an article entitled "Dueling roadblocks increase tension."
Who here remembers seeing the Democrat's jubilation when Trump signed the prison reform that would help the incarcerated (mostly minorities) get back on their feet and reintegrate into the world? I don't. That was over a year ago, and no one on the left seemed to notice or care even though it fits their agenda very well. That only reaffirms the existence of their dangerously toxic levels of TDS.

I thought Bill Clinton was the first black president.

Republicans may have the votes to end impeachment trial quickly maybe by end of the weekend.

Good news bad news. Good that it is over, bad if independents think that it was not "fair" trial.

US Finds Ally in Mexico as Asylum Policy Marks First Year
Many of the roughly 60,000 asylum-seekers have given up and gone back to the home countries they fled

Today, a year after the policy began, many other migrants have given up and gone back to the home countries they fled. Others, like the Perlas, became entrenched in Mexican life. The system known as the Migrant Protection Protocols helped change Washington's relationship with Mexico and made the neighbor a key ally in President Donald Trump's efforts to turn away a surge of asylum seekers.

...

Rapid expansion of the policy was key to a June agreement between the U.S. and Mexico that led Trump to suspend his threat of tariff increases. The Republican president said at the time that Mexico was doing more than Democrats to address illegal immigration.

...

U.S. border authorities say the policy has contributed to a sharp drop in illegal crossings, though legal challenges could modify or even block it. Immigration judges hear cases in San Diego and El Paso, Texas, while other asylum-seekers report to tent courts in the Texas cities of Laredo and Brownsville, where they are connected to judges by video.
This is a Chicago NBC news outlet, so of course the overall tone of the article is a tut-tut-look-how-awful-this-policy-makes-things-for-illegal-migrants, but they have to admit that it does what it was supposed to do -- drastically curb illegal entry into the US. I don't have the links at my finger tips but other recent articles have noted the drastic reduction in illegal border crossings -- drops in the range of 75%.

Trump has made Mexico be The Wall.

Trump extends travel ban to US for more countries you would never want to visit for vacation.

Supremes upheald his right to do this in 2018.

List includes Burma.

Most have no passport security.

Trump's original tweet said Kansas. Changed to Missouri.

To be fair the Kansas City Metropolitan area is on both sides of the State Line Road. There is also a Kansas City, Kansas as well as a Kansas City, Missouri. The stadium where the games are played is located in Missouri. Kansas City, Missouri is the largest of the cities that comprise the Kansas City Metropolitan area by far, they include the two Kansas Cities, Independence, Liberty, Leawood, Lenexa, Overland Park, Raytown, Grandview, Lee's Summit, Gladston, North Kansas City, Olathe, Shawnee, Mission, Prairie Village, and more.
