Worked fine for me. The article in the link says, "Rep. Mo Brooks files bill to repeal Obamacare"

Here's a link directly to the bill text:
Facts are stubborn things; and whatever may be our wishes, our inclinations, or the dictates of our passions, they cannot alter the state of facts and evidence. - John Adams

I think that bill has already been dismissed as just being symbolic. No way something as simple and to the point would ever get through Congress. Plus, it would do too much damage to the Washington cronies that benefit from Obamacare.

And the bill uses just one sentence to do it.

"Effective as of Dec. 31, 2017, the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act is repealed, and the provisions of law amended or repealed by such Act are restored or revived as if such Act had not been enacted," the bill states.

And that's it - one sentence.
That's ALL they had to do, and they couldn't even do that.

Will someone please explain to me what a congressman is actually useful for?

The republicans voted at least six times to repeal Obamacare back when they knew it wouldn't pass. Then when they actually could pass it, they fumble. Looking at how each one voted before and then didn't do anything when they could get results should be very revealing.

Exactly.......they like their political theater as much as the democrats do.

Not much difference between the two. Must enact term limits.

No argument out of me.

I spoke with my line manager Monday and turned in my resignation. He wanted to know why, so I explained it's not about him or the company. I'm not going to work for a competitor; I'm taking a sabbatical until the Republicans repeal Obamacare and reform the tax system to make work worthwhile. He said, "you mean you're retiring." Could be.

I originally planned on two weeks but he asked me to stay through 4/15 to ease the transition. So that's the plan.

The primaries are over. The GENERAL election is next month. Now, let's make this clear, I'm not saying Republicans are perfect by any means, and goodness knows they've screwed up more than a few times. However, compared to the Democrat Socialist Party, the Republicans still look sane, by and large. This is a firearms-related forum, and I have no problems telling which party really wants to disarm us, and prevent us from defending ourselves with firearms; the Democrat Socialist Party does. I refuse to vote Democrat, nor will I sit out the election, I'm voting Republican.
