Gender reveal party starts CA wildfire that burns 7000 acres.

Only in California.
Part of California's fire problems stem from their government orders and laws about disturbing natural areas. When trees and other plants shed their leaves and branches, and are not cleared out from time to time fires are nature's way of cleaning up the mess. Though with a state as dry and arid as much of california is, it's ideal for fires to start with any little spark. All you'll see from this is more bureaucracy and nonsense. California and new york are going to empty out. Their tax base will leave and things will get even worse. Maybe we'll see them turned into the super max prisons of those movies from the 80s

Kind of weird considering they will allow the child to choose a gender in the first grade.

Article said this was an illegal grow operation. It said people are now growing illegally to avoid the taxes levied on legal grows. With hundred of thousands of dollars in product that can be hauled off in an SUV it is obviously going to lead to criminals who want to steal said product.

Famous Mount Wilson observatory in LA threatened by fire. One of the crown jewels of astronomy.

But the observatory is named after Benjamin Davis Wilson who was from Tennessee while it was a slave state. So he or some of his relatives or friends were probably slavers, so California will probably let it burn.

Besides he is the grandfather of George S. Patton, who was not liberal and didn't like communists.

But he most assuredly was anti-fascist.

Gov signs new law to begin process of reparations for Slavery.

I don’t believe California was part of the US until after the Civil War.

California became a state in 1850.

California was admitted to the U.S. as a free state, so I can't think of any reason the state would owe reparations.
