Unlawful exhibition of power and acceleration - or more commonly known as a burnout. I got one in my '67 Camaro.

If Massachusetts LEO's caught you laying rubber the ticket would read "Failure to use care when starting." :-)

That’s the kind of ticket you frame.

Paper ballots and locked ballot boxes are the only way to go.

I like Collin County's current system. We insert a card into the machine and use the touch screen interface to fill out the ballot. We are then given the opportunity to review the ballot on the screen before we hit the "Print" button. After our ballot is printed, we can once again review our choices that were printed on the physical card before we insert it into the machine to be counted.

Best of both worlds in my opinion; ease of use of the touch screen devices, but has the physical paper ballot that can be re-counted in the event of an issue.

Texas Ranger statue at Dallas Love Field to be removed.

Something to do with an unpublished book.

Been there since 1963.

Texas Rangers are police and police are bad?
Model for statue was Caucasian and they are bad?
Model for statue’s grandfather owned slaves?
Artist was Caucasian?
Artist’s grandfather owned slaves?
Model for statue said something racist that was published?
Artist for statue said something racist that was published?
The Texas Rangers did something racist once?
Chuck Norris did something racist once?

More on Dallas taking down Texas Ranger Statue.

Yep Texas Ranger who posed for statue did something racist in 1957.

And Texas Rangers did racist things back then.

Chuck Norris was not blamed.

“At approximately 8:00 yesterday morning the City of Dallas removed the Texas Ranger monument from the entry way of Dallas Love Field. The epitome of Law Enforcement, Professionalism, and Texas. The finest Law Enforcement organization. The Dallas County elected officials thought it may be offensive to travelers. How about us born and bred Texans? This is absurd, to accommodate few and their “feelings”.

I am Hispanic, have been for 57 years. I worked hard to obtain the position of a Texas Ranger. Although, I may not speak much of my career as a Texas Ranger, make no mistake, I am a proud Texas Ranger and celebrate the prestigious accolades of being a Ranger because of the great men and women that wore that badge pressed from "Cinco Peso", those badges worn before I wore mine and those that wear it now. A Texas Ranger has a rich tradition from the early days of taming the then wild Texas border as Texas was being formed. I'm sure there were injustices like most beginnings but that is life and it can't be undone. The Texas Rangers have evolved into the best law enforcement investigative unit in the nation because they fight the fight for the poor, the weak, the opressed, the wrongfully convicted, those men and women deprived of justices and they track down the dangers of our society. This politically correctness is destroying the history of our Great State, our nation and the great Texan men and women that make Texas the Lone Star Republic.
I'm Texas Ranger Proud!!“
From Jess Ramos.

1983 exhibition of acceleration in balch springs....i was in a retied police cruiser pontiac, being a typical teenager. Decided to light up the rear tires at a stop light, white smoke was pouring out everywhere and i never saw the police pull up behind me. He waited until light turned green and i rolled out. cost me 63 dollars :biggrinjester: :biggrinjester: :biggrinjester: :biggrinjester:
