TAM that's is actually a good thought ! But Ed is several travel days from getting to Eliasville . Ed's just too far west at this point to help Blue in the shape Blue is in .

OK, I've got Danny Glover for Zeke. I'm thinking Kate Beckinsale for her, Ed Harris for Ed Rawlins, and Kathy Bates for Lucy.
Anybody got any ideas for Wade or the others?

I think BigGuy did a good job casting the characters but I'll go with you on Ed Rawlins . I would say Sam Elliot or possibly Clint Eastwood .

I'm going to have to concede to y'all. Either of those would be great, but Sam Elliot couldn't be beat for that role.

Sam Elliot would be my first pick now that his name has been thrown out there. I remembered thinking Lonesome Dove, and Tommy Lee Jones or Robert Duval would do a good job also.

I'm taking a break from mowing the yard , just sitting here drinking a diet Coke . Got the back forty mowed and it was heck ! It's been raining here more or less for three weeks . Ground still squeezes out water when you walk on it . Just wanted to thank you for putting up with me and the story . lol , I honestly never intended it to run this long but it has helped me pass time and I thank you for your patience . May our Lord be always close to you and your families as we walk through this fallen world .

Yep ! Women and children this time , much care would be taken plus they are all excited on both sides of the river . More change coming for the ranch !
