Gonna be in the Arlington area with my family on a Friday/Saturday in the future. Any suggestions on places to take young children and pregnant wife?

As others said, lots of restaurants, indoor water parks, zoos, museums, etc.
Dave Buster's, is fun for kids. Also a little to the west, the Ft. Worth Stockyards, or Sundance Square downtown. Stores, and restaurants at both places.
Arlington/Grand Prairie, is right in the middle between Ft Worth, and Dallas, so you have almost unlimited options. Several excellent BBQ places, Mexican food, or just about anything you want.
Enjoy!

I'm reading the posts here, and asking myself why those place names seem extra familiar (when I'm located in the opposite corner of the state.....)

I am already planning on hitting the medieval times tournament Saturday afternoon. I hesitate to plan anything outdoors this time of year in case the weather is bad. Not planning on any zoo/aquarium visits because we just did the Dallas zoo 2 months ago and the kids weren't all that thrilled.

The water park and children's museum sound intriguing though.

Also...I kind of get not allowing guns in an indoor water park. It's either going to get wet (in my experience all indoor water parks require you to shower before entering the area of the pools regardless) or get left in an unattended locker with questionable lock...not the safest options.

Any more suggestions? :D

Great Wolf is only 30.07, so you can take it in the indoor water park if you have REALLY good concealment. :smilelol5:
