Considering my primary reason for escaping Kalifornistan was due to being a target of that sort of liberal racism, I am extremely happy for that verdict.

Due to punitive charges, that amount has now been raised to $44 M, although that will likely be appealed. Finally, Social Justice loses out to Justice.

I wonder what has or will happen to Dean Raimondo. While the President of Oberlin (according to the original link) signed the initial email accusing the bakery, it was the dean who participated in the boycotts and apparently helped with organizing the students. The rest of us understand that the approach of SJWs is to remove their own personal responsibilities for their actions. But at some point, the chickens of a $33M+ judgement are likely to come home to roost. Will she still have her job? If not, will she be able to get a job at another college?

No, it’s still at $33 million - $11 million in compensatory damages, and $22 million (the maximum allowed by law) in punitive damages, plus legal fees and court costs....whatever that amounts to, but which is certainly less than another $11 million.

Oberlin bakery owner: Gibson's Bakery paid a high cost for an unfairly damaged reputation

In the end, the words of my father inspired me to continue the fight. He said, “In my life, I’ve done everything I could to treat all people with dignity and respect. And now, nearing the end of my life, I’m going to die being labeled as a racist.”
