Lorcin 380
I was hoping to find a humor section to post this in... A buddy of my (Ex LEO) is going to give me a Lorcin 380... It doesn't fire.... I figured I would hang it on the wall next to my Raven 25....
I had actually never heard of this brand before, but after some research I know why... Apparently if you look up Saturday night special you'll see a picture of the Lorcin.... I'm going to ask my buddy why he doesn't like me anymore...
P.S I don't have a Raven......

You'll need a Davis to hang up and display beside the Lorcin
Do they even recycle "pot metal"?
Be glad it does not fire

https://www.latimes.com/archives/la-xpm ... story.htmlThe bankruptcy case comes in the wake of at least 35 wrongful-death or injury claims involving people killed or wounded when their Lorcin pistols allegedly accidentally discharged.
Re: Lorcin 380
Why would you voluntarily fire a pistol with a pot metal slide? At some point, a hefty rock is a surer bet.
Re: Lorcin 380
His brother in law bought it from a pawn shop, took it to the range and it wouldn’t fire, took it back and they threw him out. He gave it to my ex LEO buddy to dispose of, he figured I might want it to play with. I’ll probably us it as a joke gun somehow. Maybe list it as a classic that needs some repair. Only $299.00. LOL

After you ascertain that there are no cartridges in the chamber or the mag, ensure it's non-firing status by filling the barrel with superglue.

Or a 1911.
Now, the OP needs a Jimenez and a Grendel to add to his collection.
