She wrote a letter to the department saying he was sexist.

More than that- she projected horribly and accused him of all kinds of bad stuff. The letter is ridiculous... it's just as sorry as the brass writing him up for it. I believe I would have to quit over that, after finding another dept of course, but I'd tell the exactly why and probably very publicly. That letter would have been much more impactful as a spoken interview on the nightly news.

Well done, Sir! :tiphat:

May a bird poop on your head, ma'am.

I'm so glad that I'm self employed and old enough to just not care anymore.....I would have just laughed out loud at her.....

I guess I should be arrested for hate crimes against humanity because I hold the door open for everyone? :confused5

Me too, male or female, if I arrive at the door at same time or just ahead of someone, I open the door and motion them to go in first. Funny, I have also had people do this with me. I just thought of it as a common courtesy kind of thing. Yep... now common courtesy is a hate crime. Thanks LIBTARDS!

In 45+ years of ministry I have been reprimanded once for offering a woman my seat. Remember!!! I always make a difference between Women on the left :banghead: and LADIES on the right. :tiphat: .

His superiors just told every officer under their command that one unreasonable person matters more than their officers.

Had a similar incident happen to me years ago. Saw a woman coming up to a door I was going out of, and held it open for her. She saw that and responded in a nasty tone, "I don't need you holding the door open for me because I'm a woman."

Took me back for what seemed like an eternity, but in reality was really only a fraction of a second, before I came up with a good response: "No ma'am. I holding it for you because of your age." If looks could kill, I would died a horrible death that day.

That's awesome! I'll use it.

I once had a similar "I don't need you to hold the door..." your response beat mine hands down.

Love the response. Me, I would have just let go of the door and let it hit her in the face. Not really though, I wasn’t raised that way,

I have my doubts about this website. IMO too much click bait leading to nothing important.
I guess I was expecting more from a post by Sgt. A. Merica

I hold doors for people male and female, young and old.
Most people smile and say "thank you". I don't recall ever having a negative reaction.
