Headed Back East...

#1

Post by anygunanywhere »

We have sold our property in La Grange, closing on Nov. 15th. Will live in our new 5th wheel for a few weeks until our new home in Hockley is finished. Moving closer to the grandchildren so we can help out with day to day stuff. I never thought I would be moving again but SWMBO thought it would be a good idea. I am not in need of my 54" Kubota any longer. No more deer in the backyard.

Happy wife, happy life.

Are there any breakfast get togethers in Northwest Houston area??

Whew! I thought you were going much further east. Like, original 13 colonies east. At least you'll still be in Texas, but Houston? I feel bad for you mostly because of the weather/humidity. That's just plain nassty!

That is no joke either. When I visit my son in Houston the humidity just sucks my life force away. I find myself dreading going outside in it when there.

Hockley is still in Texas. East...., but not anti gun Yankee land. You'll be okay.
Do what you say you're gonna do.

Hockley is still a little country? Oh wait they are building communities everywhere. Guess it depends where in Hockley. Good luck, we need to move the other way, grandkid in Fischer.

There are houses going up all along the 290 corridor. We will be outside the Texas 99 Grand Parkway. I am certain the area will fill in eventually. As long as the Houston doesn't annex us we will be good. They haven't annexed Cypress and that area has been growing for a long time.

West of 99 is growing by leaps and bounds. I'm in Katy and everywhere you go there is new construction, I wonder where everyone is coming from.

Welcome to the area! We don't have any West quadrant breakfasts but maybe we should start one.

They’re fleeing from every feces filled socialist Democrat controlled city they helped create, most without a clue why their former hometown became what it did. Thus, they’re going to vote the same way in Texas.
