Protestors w/ firearms arrested in West Lubbock - SWAT Team...

Very interesting stuff...SWAT team comes in too...

https://www.oaoa.com/news/local/article ... 33742.html

So - what gets me is this tidbit:
Along with media during the press conference was Open Texas member Philip Archibald, 29, who was not arrested during Monday’s protest, because he was not armed. Archibald questioned Griffis about the TABC code saying, “What about Penal Code 46.035, that states that premises is the building and not the surrounding property, parking lots or anything else?”

In response Griffis read the TABC code saying that the, “Premises are the grounds and all buildings, vehicles and appurtenances pertaining to the grounds including any adjacent premises if they are directly or indirectly under control of the same person.”
Where are the legal experts thinking about the above? :tiphat:

I just saw a video from a flower shop owner there. She claimed that the guys with guns were the same ones who had been at the hair salon in Dallas last week and had gone to a gym in her town for its opening on the same day and the bar opened. Her other claim was that the bar owner had called TABC, told them that the guys were coming with guns and asked where those guys could stand that they would not be breaking any laws. I have no way to confirm the flower shop owner's claim.

The news article in the OP is about the Odessa Tx incident.
How do you explain a dog named Sauer without first telling the story of a Puppy named Sig?
