I've got a colletion of them. They're comfy and they hide things well. Sucks being practical

Whatever!

I moved away from those years ago towards plaids or solids since most people don’t pay that much attention anyway.

Yeah, but wouldn’t any shirt sold there be an Hawaiian shirt? :biggrinjester:

They are on to us now.... time to change.

Considering that “far right” means anyone standing two steps starboard of Stalin or Mao...

Way back when I was in SAPD's academy, I was told that if I saw anyone wearing a guayabera (Mexican style shirt designed not to be tucked in), either he was a Mexican or he was carrying a gun. And if he was a Mexican, it was still 50-50 that he was concealing a gun with it.

They were very popular with off-duty officers in San Antonio back then.

I hate IWB, so I love my Hawaiian shirts this time of year. For the record, to be a real Hawaiian (or Aloha) shirt:
- it must be made in Hawaii
- the pocket pattern must exactly match the shirt pattern it is sewn over
- the buttons must be a natural material, such as bone or wood

At least that's what my daughter told me when she was stationed there, and provided me with several nice shirts.

Darnit! I prefer guayaberas to Aloha shirts...not really big on colors and complex prints.

Wait! I know! I'll start wearing a dozen-pocket fishing/IDPA vest in plain khaki! No one will ever suspect I might be carrying...
