When every thing you learned about guns was taught to you by Bugs Bunny.
In certain extreme situations, the law is inadequate. In order to shame its inadequacy, it is necessary to act outside the law to pursue a natural justice.

:biggrinjester: Measuring the first joint of my index finger I get...right at 24mm. Anybody have one of those 24mm semi-autos? I've never shot one of those but would sure love to see what they can do at the range!

Yep, satire. Been around for a good while too.

 Unless it's a shotgun larger than 16 gauge, my finger won't fit in the end of a barrel anyway. Not that I would ever....

Let's put aside the fact that a finger won't stop a bullet. Even if it did, this would still be a stupid idea.

They're going to hire 1,000,000 people who will each go and locate a gun that owned by someone. They will then break into that person's car / house so they can put their finger in the muzzle of the gun. I'm assuming they will then refuse to leave and will go anywhere that gun goes, 24/7. OK, so let's also assume that none of the 1,000,000 people will get arrested for kidnapping, etc., and they also won't get shot. They'll presumably wear Depends so they don't have to leave their "post" ever.

Assuming all of this, they will succeed in disabling less than 1/3 of 1% of the guns in America (at lot less if we include military and LEO).

On the plus side, that's 1 million fewer Democratic votes for the next election (can't exactly vote if you are following someone around 24/7 to keep your finger in their gun). Is there anyway that we can get all 1 million people to be from swing states?

I think it's a great idea. We should all encourage them to proceed with this!

This video is satire, but it kinda fits with the OP. I love the ending.

Sort of reminds me of that idiot PSA put out by some Scandinavian country several years ago about how to stop a rape. The woman is supposed to hold out her hand and shout "NO!" The rapists backs off in the video. It wasn't satire.

This is obviously satire. However, using a large volume container full of water and sticking it on muzzle would be more effective.

Ha! I'll say it's satire. If y'all haven't bumped into him before, that's Mat Best: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mat_Best. He also makes a guest appearance, under his real name, in James Wesley Rawles 5-book Patriots post-apocalypse series (and if I recall correctly, they takes jabs at him because he was a Ranger, not a SEAL) and is a co-founder of Black Rifle Coffee Company.

Edited: removing info about the low-budget movie. Was reminded of how bad the language is in it. Sorry 'bout that. Hadn't seen it in a few years.
