September 11, 2001- NEVER FORGET
19 years ago today our country was attacked by Islamic radical extremist! I can still remember to this day exactly where I was, who I was with and the exact moment I realized I was not watching an airplane accident at the world trade center but an all out attack on our country and way of life.

Yeah, I caught that. I was typing in the dark. But remember it anyway.

Re: September 11, 2001- NEVER FORGET
We’re still sacrificing American lives, as well as physically and mentally maiming our service men and women in combat 19 years later. We’re less free and have less liberty from our snooping, intrusive government today than 19 years ago.
Nineteen years later we live in a country run by people whose only interest is power and accumulation of wealth for themselves. Of course, they all say that what they do is for “the common good.”
Mourn those who have died or otherwise had their lives destroyed by Islamic terrorists. Mourn the loss of liberty and freedom as well.
Never forget that those who seek to destroy this country walk among us.

In certain extreme situations, the law is inadequate. In order to shame its inadequacy, it is necessary to act outside the law to pursue a natural justice.

That event took me from being a casual recreational shooter to a CHL and AR-15 owner.

Re: September 11, 2001- NEVER FORGET
I've shed so many tears today, reading things like the transcript of the last calls from Tod Beamer, Jeremy Glick, and others. I think of the First Responders, running into the building. It hurts, but also makes me proud to be a member of the same race (human) as these heros.
And these posts make me so much more disgusted with overpaid, spoiled NFL, and the criminals burning, looting, and killing, because they "feel" discriminated against. They are fortunate that I don't have a machine that would allow me to swap their sorry butts for a hero or victim of 9-11.
If I could trade a Pelosi for a Beamer, a Schumer for a Glick, I'd do so in a Planck time.
