Operation Torch and the USS Texas

Not being a fan of commercial television I ran across this fella on YouTube. While eating breakfast this morning I watched this episode. I thought some of you would also enjoy it.

The History guy is one of my favorite youtube channels, to be frank it's one of the few I can stand. He does some good un-biased non-political content.
How do you explain a dog named Sauer without first telling the story of a Puppy named Sig?

Nice video. :thumbs2:

And I agree, he does a great job with his channel. I also like the one that he did on the Iowa class battleships, and U-1206 that was sunk by it's own toilet.

Yep, been watching THG for a few years, never miss one of his videos. Great content and a great video in the OP.

I really like his videos but I wish he spoke just a little bit slower.
It's fine if you disagree. I can't force you to be correct.

I’ve been following The History Guy on YouTube for almost a year now. It’s one of my favorite channels, in no small part because it’s one of the only 3 to which I subscribe that my wife enjoys watching with me......the other 2 being Cowboy Kent Rollins' cooking videos, and zefrank1’s humorous nature videos.
