got bored with the M1 carbine...

#1

Post by hoytinak »

Had an extra AR grip and M1 carbine stock laying around and decided to put them to some use today. I painted the stock black, screwed and epoxyed the grip to the stock, added a tac-light and touched it up useing a bungee cord to hold an extra mag to the stock. How's this for a tacticool M1 carbine? Here's proof you shouldn't drink and play with firearms. :cheers2:

Only one suggestion.

Replace the bungee cord with cammo duct tape.

Doesn't hurt as bad when it comes flying off in the heat of battle and hits you in the cheek!

Shouldn't the pistol grip be butted up against the trigger housing?

I was thinking the same thing about grip being a little far from the trigger. I was looking at my M1 Carbine the other day and was wondering if anyone might make a M4 style stock for the M1 carbine. I looked online the other day for no luck.
