10/22 Magazines
What kind of magazines do ya'll have for your 10/22's? I have a Shooter's Ridge 25rd that I have had zero problems with.
Right now, Eagle 30rd Mags are on sale for $8.63
Does anyone shoot with Eagle Mags? Are they worth anything or am I better off buying Shooter's Ridge at 20 bux a pop?

I have a few Butler Creek 25 rounders. I have had 1 that would not engage in the mage well. Chucked it into the trash. Where can i get the Eagles for 8.63?

Re: 10/22 Magazines
It's a crapshoot with any aftermarket 10/22 magazine model and make. I've got a 25 rd Shooter's Ridge that is garbage ,and a Ram-line 50 round that runs flawlessly. I've been recently acquiring alot of OEM magazines because they're alot easier to load.

Go to www.galleryofguns.com and find a dealer in your neighborhood. You order it off the site and it ships to your local dealer. They are on sale until the end of August. Im thinking about picking up a dozen or so.tboesche wrote:I have a few Butler Creek 25 rounders. I have had 1 that would not engage in the mage well. Chucked it into the trash. Ruger 10/22 22lr 30rd Banana Mag New Eagle
I have never had a problem with the butler creeks.
My butler creek autoloader also works on the eagle mags and on the 10 round stock ruger mags.
I have a 25 ramline... it works but not as well as butler creek or even eagle. I bought it just to test against others.

Re: 10/22 Magazines
Don't waste your money on the Eagle. I bought one a couple of weeks ago and finally tried it last week. Every 4th or 5th shot it jammed. There is no way to adjust it, it fits loose in the mag well, and you can't use the shell you just ejected when you cleared the jam. It unseats the bullet from the brass. Thats with WWB ammo. The stock mag works fine with that ammo in my 10/22.
