Get as many original FAL upper parts as you can, then sell it as a host for a registered FN FAL auto sear, I think there are a few pre-86 ones still out there...A "correct" FN FAL semi "host" should go for around $5k or more, then you can use it as down payment on a pre86 registered full auto FN FNC...the little brother of the FAL.
