Got the email below from Bud's and I'm thinking of jumping on one. Any owners here? Good deal? Avoid? $549.99

Thanks

We recently purchased ALL of Century's remaining inventory of surplus C93 Sporters!
The receivers are stamped Century Arms C93 Sporter, but PTR-91 is manufacturing the barrels and other parts for these exclusive builds.
PTR will also powder coat, assemble, and warrant these C93s.

I was thinking about it because I'd read quite a few reviews that concluded like the below but it seems a consensus of two says "run away, run away":

https://www.outdoorhub.com/reviews/2015 ... c93-rifle/

What do shooters get for their hard-earned dough? A more-than-combat-accurate, roller-delayed, semiautomatic rifle in a common, soft-shooting caliber. While not the most inexpensive option for shooters looking for a modern black rifle, the C93 is a relatively cheap fix for HK enthusiasts who can’t afford to drop $2,000 on a rifle that takes $80 factory magazines. It may have it quirks, but for shooters not heavily invested in an AK or AR-15, the C93 makes a fine alternative. It’s one that can serve as a range-plinker, home-defense carbine, or HK-inspired addition to their collection.

You can buy a decent AR for less currently. PASS.

Of course, if your goal is something other than an AR, you want a roller block or you just like the H&K style or......

Sold out anyway.

Ted likes 'em.
