I wonder why they don't make a rail mount for rifles? The thing seems small enough and light enough to hang under a rifle when desired. Maybe even a pistol; 4.5" and 5.5oz wouldn't be a deal-breaker. The specs are way-cool, and they already even have record/delay settings that would work fine for hunting or range practice. Might need an option for manual activation, though, if hunting from a stand or a blind.

Of course, in my case, if it were on a rifle or pistol, it would have to not slow down actual fps to 1/3 speed. It would have to speed it up by 1/3 so it would look like I can engage multiple targets at a normal pace. :roll:
