Conservative firebrand Roy Moore rolled to an easy win in the Alabama GOP Senate primary runoff, defeating appointed Sen. Luther Strange, the preferred candidate of both President Trump and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell.

Sometimes when you drain a swamp you have to deal with snakes and rats for a while.

A lesson on Roy Moore from his former law school professor

Luther Strange was not a good candidate, regardless who was backing him. I'm glad Moore won!

It's still a win for Trump. I'll bet that he is privately smiling.

Sad but true. It looks like we will be stuck with McConnell and Ryan for a while but we have to think long term. "It's for the children."
God, grant me serenity to accept the things I can't change
Courage to change the things I can
And the firepower to make a difference.

Did you see where Moore pulled a gun out of his pocket to show his support for 2A? Maybe something will get passed. We need a few more primary challenges against republicans. Strange was going to support Trump anyway so this is not earth shaking. Cruz going against Obamacare though, McCain (he needs to retire with dignity now), and the other no voters need to be replaced. It is just criminal that a senator from tiny Maine can hold the entire country hostage. Same for Alaska.

you probably figured it out by now, but look at the OP and look at the date. This was from the primaries.
