KY: Pike County Votes to Arm Teachers

Post by Vol Texan »

This school district is only two hours away from where I grew up in East Tennessee.

According to the article, this is the first school district in Kentucky to make this decision.
You've gotta appreciate the hillbillies back home for coming to their senses on such a divisive issue.

If you would kindly post the link here, I'd like to read it.
Not everyone is on the Book of Faces. I tell people I'm in witness protection so I'm not allowed.

I have a question to those teachers who recoil in horror at being armed. Why don't they want the choice to disarm?

Where armed teachers aren't allowed, intellectual cupcakes are denied the choice to disarm.

Does the moral high ground, if that's what you want to call it, count if it's forced on you?

I moved around a bit as a kid (5 city moves by the time I graduated high school). People always ask if my father was in the military. I just get quiet, look around, and say, "no, he was in witness protection." I have yet to get any follow up questions.

5 would have been nice!
I've counted 14 that I could remember, and no he wasn't military.
