Road Trip

#1

Post by mdubtx »

As a Texas resident LTC with no other states' license...

It looks like a road trip through Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, into Florida is going to be pretty much business as usual. Just pay attention to the gunbuster signs.

Any advice or suggestions along said route?

Thanks

Do some research at http://www.handgunlaw.us/ to learn the details of each state's laws.

haven't made that trip in a few years, but as I recall, yes, it's pretty much life as normal, BUT, note which signs count in which states AND if you are going to be going to church in any of those states, a couple of those states allow and a couple don't....Download the ccw app onto your phone, it will help

I have an app called “Legal Heat”. It is easy to use and it appears to be correct and up to date.

Just came back towing our modest RV. I-10 east of, and around, Lafayette, LA is rough as a cob! Do stop at the Atachefalya Welcome Center.
