I'm watching the full Senate meeting now, looks like a BUNCH of people filing in upstairs/balcony, some carrying signs like John Woods said to bring.

"rlol" I don't think they even had time to whip out their tiny signs.

The Aye votes were loud, Ellis and whoever voted no did it so quietly in shame I guess.

Huffman was an Aye I am fairly certain I heard a female Aye
Joan Huffman (R) - Vice Chair

It was Ellis and Chuy I think who want defenseless rape/robbery victim kids

Now we need to focus on Calenders. The sooner we get these bills onto the floor, the better. We have to go through this whole process one last time after one of the bills passes the house/senate

I made additional calls to all of the Calenders Committee members Austin offices today. From the talking to the staffer's, only 2-3 max may be against us. Rodriguez is for sure, and potentially Coleman and Lucio. I am not familiar with Coleman or Lucio's stances on firearms legislation in the past, but from looking at the fact all of the other committee members co-authored at least HB 750 or HB 681 these should be the only ones possibly in distention other than Rodriguez.

WIth Lucio, he'll vote how his daddy (Eddie Lucio II) tells him to vote. And the Latin special interest groups. So it's a no from him.
