Update: Beto is now saying he does not want to confiscate AR-15s, AK-47s, and the like from American citizens.

He is a true nut case. I read that article yesterday as well and was shaking my head all the way through. He has flip flopped more than Biden.

So true. He claims to be pro 2nd now, but faults Abbott for signing the constitutional carry bill.

I think he meant to say that he doesn’t want to confiscate firearms until AFTER he’s elected. Then we can go back to his normal programming.

He damn near won against Cruz. He turned Tarrant county Blue and it stayed that way for Xiden.
He didn't turn Tarrant blue. The people that lived there turned it blue.
He did NOT "turn Tarrant County blue". I lived in Fort Worth for four years, some years ago now. I watched it grow by leaps and bounds, and unfortunately, most of those new neighborhoods that got built filled up with "economic refugees" from California and other Democrat-ran states. Now, not all those folks vote Democrat, and some of them are fairly conservative, but way too many of them came to Texas for jobs, or to escape high taxes, but brought all their liberal/leftwing social attitudes with them. THAT is what "turned Tarrant County blue". While I miss Fort Worth at times, the Fort Worth I miss no longer exists, and when we go down there from time-to-time, I am reminded of that fact.

I have a different view. I no longer live in Tarrant County (Colleyville) where I was introduced to the likes of Vicky Truitt. But after I worked hard to get her replaced, I (and others) discovered that her replacement was faux Red. In fact, much of what is labeled as Red in the political higher level does many Democrat like things. The blue results of recent are only the coming out of the closet for the actual policies. I'm not trying to say that Tarrant is any where near as bad as Harris or any of the other blue strong holds, only that it isn't really red either.
