As an Ellis County resident I can tell you that the Ds had near zero presence where I live and drive (Midlothian and Waxahachie areas). Nearly all the signs I saw were for R candidates. I don't have the numbers in front of me but I think the top D got 9% of the vote here. I'm really happy with that. :thumbs2:

If you want to know, I voted for Wright. I voted for Ellzey when he ran for TX06 the first time and for state rep. However, not even being in that office for a year and running for Congress again makes me think he is quite ambitious. That may be a good quality in a politician but not in a public servant. It is somewhat insulting, actually., and I don't want to reward that. :mad5
