NRA hacked

#1

Post by K.Mooneyham »

Well, I just watched a video on YT, from a guy who seems to keep up with this sort of stuff pretty well, saying that the NRA had been hacked, again, by "Russians" and that more info about leadership and members was leaked out. Now, I don't know the extent of any of this, so I'm not going to post links because I don't know which ones are reliable in this regard. I want to get forum members' take on this. How damaging to members is this, and how much is true vs "internet rumor mill".

I saw a report a few weeks ago about a ransomware attack on the NRA, but nothing specific. Lots of folks on twitter suggesting that it might have been done in order to prevent the NRA from being able to turn over files under subpoena. Others were just laughing at NRA.
