As the name indicates, this is the place for gun-related political discussions. It is not open to other political topics.

Sen Mike Lee (UT) and others take on the ATF

The United States Court of Appeals for theSeventh Circuit said, “[a] designation by an unnamed official, using unspecified criteria, that is put in a desk drawer, taken out only for use at a criminal trial, and immune from any evaluation by the judiciary, is the sort of tactic usually associated with totalitarian régimes.”

Yet, that is exactly what the ATF has done in this and other cases.

I've taken the time to write him a letter of thanks; I'm really grateful to have (real) men like this in the Senate.

nice letter
but the ATF will ignore it and sadly the authors will get no teeth in congress.
Garland is a dangerous person who has strong issues about doing"what ever" despite it being legal or not

Hopefully Sen Lee and his caucus takes this to court.
i love the part about persons are expected to know the law, (ignorance of the law does not absolve one from being guilty of violating it) and basically how can one be expected to know the law if the very law they are accused of violating does not exist.

will be watching this
