I sure hope he does not run for POTUS. I think that he might be very effective in the background as a fundraiser though.

I'm in Abbott's corner at this point. Be on the lookout for an announcement in the near future.

I heard somebody suggest he may run as an early Presidential candidate with the hopes of being an eventual VP candidate.

Agree wholeheartedly regarding fundraising. . . he is a significant force.

I support Joe Straus for Governor. This would get him out as Speaker of the House, and finally allow bills to come before him that he would either have to Sign or Veto showing his true colors and allowing his NRA rating to finally reflect who he really is.

....I kid, I kid.

Abbott would be my first choice.

SInce Perry will be leaving you think he will push the rest of the gun and CHL bills to the floor for a vote? What does he have to lose?

Speaker Strauss should be named special ambassador to Canada. We need a US Representative to the 1,000 Islands. He should start off his mission by spending one full week in each island. :evil2:

The GOP Primary will be Paulken vs. Abbott I guess. Maybe more. Since there are no more remakes of the Wizard of Oz and Wendy cannot try out of one of the "leading" roles (I'm working carefully around the 10 year old daughter rule here), I fully expect to see her on the Dem primary ticket. She is going to be a "star", at least in her own mind. :smilelol5:
