All can say is that the irresponsible way the news media acted over the Zimmerman case is a disgrace

Acted? You mean acting. They're doing their best to fan the emotional flames, stir up riots, and promote mob justice.tommyg wrote:All can say is that the irresponsible way the news media acted over the Zimmerman case is a disgrace

Re: Judge Confronts Zimmerman
I watched every bit of this trial - start to finish. Judge Nelson is a Jeb Bush appointee ( what does that tell you about Jeb Bush ?)
Judge Nelson sustained prosecution's objections at a rate of roughly 98 % , while sustaining the defense's objections at a rate of roughly only 25 % . The prosecution might just as well have remained standing during defense's turn at questioning of witnesses to facilitate their constant objections. I think that constant objecting by the State actually helped the defense with the jurors.
She was pressing Zimmerman DIRECTLY in the presence of his attorneys. Totally out of order. She should have addressed the issue to his attorneys FIRST, and then addressed him as to whether the decision was HIS independent decision.
Judge Nelson was deliberately attempting to give the prosecution a head's up , and a head start to enable them to prepare their best theatrical performance in front of the jurors in the event Zimmerman was foolish enough to submit to their stand-up comedy routine. Zimmerman wouldn't have been able to get a word in edge wise in between the prosecutor's performances.
