Political Forum May be Closed

As the name indicates, this is the place for gun-related political discussions. It is not open to other political topics.

Well since this has turned into an alter call :biggrinjester: since every head is bowed, I too have occasion have gone "off topic" but I'm gonna go ahead and cast stones at TAM, Annoyed, RP brown, mojo, and anyone else I can point the finger to who might have led me astray.

:rolll

It won't happen again :tiphat:

I was tempted to get drawn into this discussion however, this forum isn't where I come to discuss non-gun related things. We just last week got a warning from Charles that this section of the forum was in danger of being closed. It would be ashame to lose shuch a valuable area. Note that the topic heading was changed to "Gun-Related Polictical Issues". If it didn't have a negative impact, I could just stay out of this however we've been warned we may lose this forum all together and that would stink.

There are plenty of other places on the web for non-gun political topics.

This limitation is routinely ignored and many threads have resulted in violation of Forum Rules. Therefore, the Moderators are evaluating the continued existence of Political forum and a decision on its future will be made shortly.

Meanwhile, any new thread started that does not relate to guns will be deleted.

This is a bell curve:

When you remove the right "wingnut" the whole curve moves to the left.

I have no interest in moving to the left.

Likewise, when you remove the left "wingnut" the whole curve moves to the right.

What if the hokey-pokey really is what it's all about?
I sincerely apologize to anybody I offended by suggesting the Second Amendment also applies to The People who don't work for the government.

What about one area for strictly 2A related and one area for any other topics? That would give those who want to and choose to do so an area in which to get things off their chest the avenue to do so.
It's fine if you disagree. I can't force you to be correct.

I believe the problem isn't co-mingling topics in a sub-forum, but rather the discussion of non-gun politics period.
