I haven't been since the inaugural breakfast, I'm hoping to make it this time.

Awesome! Will be glad to have you back. FYI, we now meet at Rudy's. It's not far from the Starwood Cafe we met at for the first 2. It's larger, so we aren't using tables while people are waiting.GeekwithaGun wrote: ↑Thu Jul 12, 2018 12:20 pm I haven't been since the inaugural breakfast, I'm hoping to make it this time.

I can't wait. It'll be good to see GeekwithaGun again. I also got myself a couple new toys to show off since we last met. I will bring one this Saturday, and the other one next Saturday in Arlington.

Nice group this morning! surprised_im_armed, Skullcop, GeekWithaGun, BitterClinger, C-Dub and strogg made for great conversation. Sorry I had to bug out earlier than normal guys. Unfortunately, work beckoned. I'm planning to see some of you guys and some others in Arlington next Saturday though!

No worries Flightmare. I tore outta there before you did to make my PGR mission.
When I first waked in this morning I noticed there were many more people there than I had sen before at that time. There also seem to be at least three different groups meeting up. Since I didn't see you guys right off I spotted someone else OCing and figured there were some new guys since I last made it to breakfast with ya'll. So, I walked right up and introduced myself as C-dub, figuring I would get some knowing nods. But, NO. They asked me if I was with the motorcycle group or something else I didn't quite catch. I started to get the feeling this was not the right group and I apologized saying that the group I was meeting usually OCs and figured they were it. They said, "No. That's just him."
I looked around another minute and spotted SIA and Flightmare. Nice to see ya'll again! I am off the 11th next month, so I hope I'll be able to make it back to back months.

Re: DFW North/NorthEast Quadrant Breakfast
I will see everyone on Saturday, 8.11.18.
soldev: I'm not sure if any of us regular Frisco breakfast guys have met you.
I know I haven't....so looking forward to you joining us.
I saw a great handgun torture test recently. A guy bought a Highpoint C9 pistol and
really beat it up, dragged it behind his F-150, threw it in a pond, put pond scum in the
gun, and even fired a <.40?> at it, hitting it right in the ejection port.
Believe it or not, this gun fired all the time, even after it was shot.
They aren't pretty, but this one took a licking and kept on ticking.

Re: DFW North/NorthEast Quadrant Breakfast
Oh yes, I forgot to mention that I plan on showing up. I was going to have to miss it due to CERT training, but other events unfolded and I had to miss it. I guess that means y'all will have to suffer through my presence.
