Are you just going to argue everything? He won, get over it Hillary. MAGA
He reminds me of a guy I once knew... you could take him to lunch when he was broke and he'd be upset that it was only Chili's and not a $100 meal.
And this one is Bill! Amazing how you both are on at the same time!
???

Either you mistook my post or I just don't get yours. ...lol

Trump hurting Iran bad. Winning is just so much nicer than apologizing to everyone.

It appears that Trump's assertions just a few weeks ago that Pyongyang was “no longer a Nuclear Threat" might have been a little premature.

I just read the wapo article. Not one named official said anything, except Pompeo, and he did not say this. "Anonynous WaPo Source" = #FakeNews.
Hardly fake news. Pompeo admitted in testimony to the senate last week that north korea was still developing fissile material, and when asked directly about missle development he declined to respond when asked whether North Korea was continuing to pursue submarine-launched ballistic missiles or whether North Korea’s nuclear program was advancing generally. Pompeo said he would be happy to answer the latter question if necessary in a classified setting but suggested public statements on the issue would not help “a complex negotiation with a difficult adversary”.

Not the predigested pablum released thru the alt-right news channels you may be used to digesting, but it shouldn't require much critical thought to reach the conclusion that north korea is doing exactly what they have done for over 30 years.... promise one thing while breaking that promise at the same time. It's the same game plan they have always run.

Among the 200 killed in the tunnel collapse last year were certainly scientists, engineers and technicians who were involved in the development of bombs and delivery systems. You think they called up a temp staffing agency to keep things moving?

Having your nuclear program literally collapse and dealing with a US CIC who has shown resolve handling nasty problems has a way of adjusting one's plans. The US is still at war with NK, and there are no treaties yet, so yeah, they are still working on things, with the talent they have left. There will be no more missile launches.

Most recent trump claim that you need ID to buy groceries... now that's fake news.

After the most recent rally in Tampa, trump's false or misleading claims has risen to over 4200 since taking office. Looks like the fake news starts in the oval office.

Philbo, with all due respect, do you sit around all day looking for anti trump stories? I don't get it. He's certainly no white lamb, but neither was the last pres or hilary. Even if we concede that he is a despicable human being (which I don't) he's still better than the alternative.

Even with all the ridiculousness in the news every day, everyone I know is better off today than they were 2, 4, 6 years ago- and that is what really counts.

I do think it's funny that you expect all things said or claimed by trump to be true but don't post up the false claims of anyone else... there is a reason that there are so many jokes about politicians lying.

I'm quite sure you could find a story or fifty about the tax cuts going to kill our economy or how only the rich will benefit or how trumps NK approach had us headed straight to war, or how his sexual misconduct (years before becoming pres) is an issue now (funny how BClinton got a pass there) or you name the silliness that's made up or just plain wrong.

You are strangely silent on these types of stories. :confused5

Trump urges AG Sessions to stop Mueller probe right now. Manafort trial begins. Trumps name will not be mentioned as it would be a cause to appeal. Trial has nothing to do with Trump as it happened in 2014.

Manafort's former partner has plead guilty of something and is a witness against Manafort.

Seems as if most of the evidence of a crime reported on last nights news was Manafort likes expensive clothing. When I see that it reminds me a lot of the Martha Stewart trial, where she was found guilty beyond a reasonable doubt of lying about what she remembered and being rich.

Flechero, with all due respect, this thread is about trumps term as president, not clinton's, bush's or obama's. When they were in office I spoke quite loudly about their inconsistencies... the difference is that there was no thread in this forum where the member's tried to whitewash, overlook and apologize for the inconsistencies of their chosen candidate. I am unwilling to give a pass, ignore, or whitewash anyone who is such a habitual liar, has attacked gold star families, repeatedly chosen to support a foreign power over his own aides and intelligence community, used deficit spending for a tax cut, give aid to farmers that his unwise policies have injured, or spent more than 20% of his time in office at his resorts playing golf while simultaneously charging tax payers millions of dollars for the privilege of enriching his own resorts. If he is good enough for you, that's great. I am not willing to settle for this sad, embarrassing wreck of a man, or his policies on nearly every issue.

If the standard of acceptance is that you are better off than you were, will your values shift with your pocket book in the future? Or, are your values and principals independent beliefs that are not for sale and do not change depending on which way the financial wind is blowing? If trump supporters are too thin skinned in their beliefs to hear criticism about their chosen leader, then the issue lies with them. So long as trump continues to put himself before this country, weaken the institutions that make up this republic, and promote a system of crony capitalism that's beginning to look a lot like socialism, I will not support this president or his policies. Further, I will openly state my opinion... even if it's unpopular with whichever flavor of sycophant is speaking.

Oh, bill clinton hardly got a pass... i believe that his lying led to his impeachment, if not the conviction he may have deserved. But, if that's a pass in your book I'm willing to allow the same pass for the current caricature of a man that is calling himself president.

I was rich while I was poor, that hasn't changed. I'm sad for but not surprised that you equate money to my values. My values didn't shift from where they were. I still actively volunteered at and gave to my Church, still worked with families of deployed soldiers and still got my own fulfillment from God and family. What additional money has allowed me to do is have a greater impact on my community since I have more to be generous with. I won't complain that I'll be able to retire someday now that my retirement accounts are in a position to allow it. - by following God's plan for stewardship, I have put money away so that I can leave my family better off. No apologies, no shift in values.

Our Church is growing, and so is our Bible study group. We are further from war with several countries, our small business is hiring, demand is high. My local town [and the 3 surrounding it] are developing with new restaurants, shops and other businesses- sure there is money there but the towns are being revitalized. (that is way more important than dollars alone) People are upbeat and positive, and the mood in the county is better than it has been in many years. I'd call that better off. ;-)

You might find joy in looking for some positive articles once in a while. It's not as bad as cnn, blm, mda and abc make things out to be.

Best to you, sir. :tiphat:

Sorry, but the old norms don't apply anymore when defining how people act politically. There are no standards for performance, logic, ethics, morality, civility, faith, or compassion - all that matters to many (but, thankfully, not the majority) is what is novel or entertaining today. Could it be widespread "brainwashing"? Are we just going through a major reset? :confused5

Speaking of widespread brainwashing. Who's doing the brainwashing?
