The left lies about everything. Truth is a liberal value, and truth is a conservative value, but it has never been a left-wing value. People on the left say whatever advances their immediate agenda. Power is their moral lodestar; therefore, truth is always subservient to it. - Dennis Prager

Jeff you can resign or be fired after November elections, it’s your choice. I think you should resign.

Sessions is swamp...he should resign. Worst Trump appointee.

Trump had no problem telling Tillerson to hit the road. Why is Sessions unfireable? He's not. The Trump and Sessions back and forth is all theater. The appearance of no action is what is letting him do his work in peace. There's a lot more to take care of than the special council issue. That is 99% of the news, and of no significance in reality.

If he fire sessions it will make it look like he is trying to interfere with the council. Sessions as to quit or resign in order to be replaced

If Trump wanted him gone, he would "resign". The back and forth is just enough to provide cover for what's really going on. I believe there are already hundreds of sealed indictments against crooks of all kinds, in and out of government. It will be a gold rush for defense lawyers.

But you are right - the appearance would be bad.

I sure hope you're right and if there are indictments, they need to come out before November.
In certain extreme situations, the law is inadequate. In order to shame its inadequacy, it is necessary to act outside the law to pursue a natural justice.

Trump Organization CFO granted immunity in latest blow to the president
https://www.politico.com/story/2018/08/ ... ity-795496

In what may be the biggest legal blow yet to President Donald Trump, federal prosecutors in New York have granted immunity from prosecution to Allen Weisselberg, the man who knows Trump’s financial secrets — and those of his family and his global business empire. This could cut across his entire financial empire and implicate everyone associated with trump's financial shenanigans, including his family. Further, David Pecker, the publisher of the National Enquirer and a longtime friend of Trump’s, has reportedly has been providing investigators with details of the hush-money payouts by his tabloid magazine, and potentially others, in its ongoing effort to protect Trump from bad publicity.

“He (Weisselberg) is also an indication that people around Trump, knowing that loyalty is one-way street, are not going to go to prison for their boss,” stated David Cay Johnston, author of the 2016 book, “The Making of Donald Trump.”

I have had this hope that they have been doing great work behind the scenes without leaks both Sessions and Mueller. One day we will wake up to hundreds of indictments for all the real crimes that were committed by the other side. However with the focus on Trump’s former friends and allies for nothing that has to do with Russia, to me it is an overthrow of an elected President not with guns and soldiers but with paper and lawyers.

Not a chance that Sessions is working with Trump. He's clearly compromised after spending HIS ENTIRE LIFE IN THE SWAMP. The swamp dictated terms to him in order to become AG and a DEEP STATE employee for life.

Doesn't matter what Trump does, the STATE will not stop until they either have him out, or kill him. He is their KRYPTONITE!!. He need to declassify ALL documents NOW. Fire Sessions NOW. Appoint a true patriot as AG who will fire Rosenstein and Muehler NOW.

This clearly a DEEP STATE (and actually establishment DC) Coup d'etat against a duly elected President of the United States. All should be chased down and punished as prescribed by The Constitution. If they succeed in this, just as if Fellonius Von Pants Suit had won, God himself won't be able to help us.....

Mueller will indict Donald Trump Jr. for lying to the FBI.

So says Roger Stone.

The Sun will go red giant and fry the Earth to a barren wasteland killing all life.

So says Philip964.

No wonder Newsweek is pretty much gone.
