Massachusetts Governor Ignores Court Order

#1

Post by KLB »

Governor Charlie Baker on Monday defended his administration’s role in a legal battle over firearm licenses, arguing the state was required to tell local police chiefs that hundreds of people should have their permits revoked at the urging of federal officials.

But the stance continues to meet resistance at the district court level, where at least seven judges — including two last week — have ordered that gun licenses be reinstated, with one dismissing the reliance on the state’s legal position as “capricious.”

To clarify.... The "urging of federal officials" appears to be based on things such as prior misdemeanor convictions, some decades old.

Until government officials start getting prosecuted for actions like this, they are going to keep going, and very likely get worse. Hopefully more people in Texas get on our boat and take action at the polling booths.

Where's the big surprise? The people who elected this guy are the same people who elected Pocahontas Warren.

This is when the judge needs to send the State Police to bring him into the court room for some one on one conversation with the judge!

Bostonians used to know what to do with Governors like that, but that was nearly 250 years ago.

Bostonians were a different people then. All the current residents have in common with revolutionary forebears is geography.

Is it the Judge he should worry about? Do they “make the laws”?

If a Judge orders you to follow his ruling and you ignore it, guess where you'll find yourself, in jail until you comply with the court order, a judge has the ability to make you comply or suffer if you don't, otherwise why do we even go to court if judges are powerless to enforce the law!
