Do you need a LTC in Texas to OC/CC if you are active military stationed in Texas?

Yes, unless you are performing your assigned duties which require it.Richbirdhunter wrote: ↑Wed May 08, 2019 12:08 pm Do you need a LTC in Texas to OC/CC if you are active military stationed in Texas?

IIRC, Active military can get a LTC for free from the state, must still pay for fingerprints as well as LTC course. Where are you stationed. Active military also v]can get a Super Combo hunting and fishing license for free.

Correct, plus active duty, veterans, and Texas Military Forces may provide the department with any passing military firearm range scores from the preceding 10 years in lieu of taking the range test.

Also I believe active duty need only be 18 for LTC.
