To those that do not share your heritage it is difficult to see differences between Islamist, Shia, and Sunni. Do they not all read the same book? All I know is that Shia and Sunni have been killing each other for hundreds of year and Islamists want to kill everyone else.

This thread was initially about the allegiance to the USA of an elected member of Congress who happens to be a Muslim. If she cannot put the American people's best interests ahead of people from other countries who happen to share her religion, then she has no business being in Congress.

Best advice, seek the truth. Not everything you learned while growing up was true. History is said to be written by the conqueror. It is just past 100 years that the last Muslim Sate vanished and all the Arab countries were under occupation anywhere from 30 years to 65 years.

Seek the truth. Knowledge is power.

So since it was asked, here's the truth and once again it brings the thread back to Tlaib, where it belongs:

For the last several years Palestinians sought to gain global succor for their situation through outrageous lies. The Palestinians sought to revise ancient history with claims that Jesus was a Palestinian Arab and not a Jew, and that the Jewish Temple never stood on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. They also claimed that Palestinians were descendants of Canaanites, all in an attempt to make their historic claims to Israel and Jerusalem as much greater than the Jews. That the Arab invasion of the Jewish holy land happened thousands of years after the Jews had been living there was viewed an inconvenience to be dismissed.

Regarding modern history, the Arabs sought to invert cause-and-effect and claim the mantle of victimhood to appeal to the Leftist/Socialist contingent in the western world. Jews were labeled as colonialist invaders who ethnically cleansed the indigenous Arabs, rather than the Jewish people who returned to their homeland and uniquely sacred land. The Arabs claim ongoing apartheid-like conditions, rather than acknowledge their own overt racism in demanding a state free of Jews, even to the extent of having a law sentencing an Arab to death for selling land to a Jew.

The Palestinians lie because they want to look like victims to get support from the world. They sought to appear as indigenous so their claims should be validated. Complete lies, but understandable.

These outright lies and inversion of facts have taken a curious turn. Instead of only manufacturing a narrative that Palestinian Arabs are victims of Jewish aggression and racism, a new voice directed the message that Palestinians were the saviors of Jews.

It’s not just that Tlaib lied about the gross antisemitism of her “ancestors” who actively lobbied the British government to STOP Jews from coming to Palestine and that she ignored the role of the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem who supported the Nazis and Adolph Hitler.

Tlaib went in a new direction. She created a whole new lie for the purpose of trying to make Jews appreciate what Palestinians did for Jews! Palestinians gave up their homes, livelihood and dignity for the Jews, so be thankful! It gives Tlaib “comfort” that her ancestors “saved” Jews from the Holocaust, and the Jews should look at Palestinians as benefactors.

Outrageous.

It was the Romans who tore down the Jewish temple. The Muslims did build on the same site, but they did not destroy the temple.
Beiruty wrote: Tue May 14, 2019 9:01 am There was no temple there. If you insist go fight with the Romans who destroyed all your temples.
Muslims destroyed no Synagogue nor a Temple. None, 0.
For those reading and context impaired, Beiruty's claim above NO TEMPLE UNDER Al-Aqsa mosque. NOT an attack on Islam or Beiruty to point out this blatant inaccuracy.

And just to be clear, I NEVER stated that Islam destroyed any ancient temples.

Rashida Tlaib gives aid and comfort to terrorists. There's evidence she helped raise funds for terrorist organizations. Rashida Tlaib's allegiances are clear to everybody who approaches the question with an open mind, and objectively consider her own words and other evidence.

I don't know why some people defend Rashida Tlaib and her terrorist associates. I don't know why some people jump into online discussions and toss out buckets of red herrings to distract from the truth about Rashida Tlaib and her terrorist associates. But I have a few guesses.
