This is why Democrats, the media and other anti-Second Amendment people are trying so hard to destroy the NRA. No other organization has an impact on gun laws, no, not one.

Since my sarcasm has been used up at work, that is the best I could muster. The NRA isn't the strongest link in the chain that secures our second amendment, THE NRA IS THE CHAIN!

Maybe its my cynicism but I read that article as a dog whistle to the leftist to further attack the NRA and blame the NRA for controlling Trump.
In certain extreme situations, the law is inadequate. In order to shame its inadequacy, it is necessary to act outside the law to pursue a natural justice.

They don't need any ammunition to attack the NRA, they can simply make it up. Where truth is concerned the left is not even in the same building
