Saw that in the paper. It's a feel good good move in my opinion. It's a resolution not an ordinance so it has no enforceable wording/code. I do like that the county commissioners have gone on record for us. So hopefully the sheriff will follow the "guidance" For a Democrat he's been pretty good so far.

Add Denton County to the list.
In a Facebook post, Denton County Sheriff Tracy Murphree stated, “[A]s long as I am your Sheriff, neither I nor anyone working for me will participate in any gun confiscation, registration, or mandatory government buyback. I will stand for your 2nd Amendment rights.”
Deplorable lunatic since 2016

Perhaps the sheriff can start with the 30.06 sign at the courthouse.

Just saw this on YouTube

Sheriff Adam King reading the declaration that Johnson County will uphold the Second Amendment. :rules:

Adam and I worked for the same department as LEO. Good friend and great guy. :hurry:

You can add Van Zandt county to the list of 2nd Amendment sanctuary counties.
Do what you say you're gonna do.
