I further order that the Texas Department of Public Safety shall do the following:

Order No. 2
Order No. 3

Establish a Mexican Cartel Division within the Texas Fusion Center to collect and analyze intelligence that will enable further apprehension, prosecution, and disruption of these foreign terrorist organizations.
Identify, arrest, and impede the gangs in Texas that support the drug and human smuggling operations of these foreign terrorist organizations.
Conduct multi-jurisdictional investigations of foreign terrorist organizations operating in Texas to support criminal prosecutions here and in other States.
Conduct multi-jurisdictional investigations of transnational and Texas- based gangs that support the smuggling operations of foreign terrorist organizations.
Target, seize, and dismantle the infrastructure, assets, vehicles, and buildings used by foreign terrorist organizations to smuggle drugs and people into and throughout Texas.
Enhance southbound criminal interdiction operations resulting in the seizure of bulk cash and other assets being smuggled into Mexico.
Intensify efforts under Operation Lone Star focused on detecting and interdicting transnational criminal activity between the ports of entry

I believe he should ask for a volunteer army of Texans to secure the border by any means necessary including deadly force.

But...why? I mean, Vice President Harris, the Border Czar, told us just last week that the southern border was secure!

The dems and the MSM are vilifying border governors, especially Abbott. But they never mention that Texas has spent $4 billion in state money to try to shore up the holes and deficiencies of the Biden Border. One week to go in this fiscal year for US Customs and Border Protection, and we've already had almost a half-million more illegal immigrant encounters than last year. Not counting the got-aways, of course.

And that equals a financial windfall for the cartels. They're rolling in cash like never before. If you figure $6K to $8 per head as coyote fees to get illegals across the border, you're talking about $13.2 billion in a 12-month period just from the trafficking. Doesn't count the scourge of killing Americans via fentanyl and other drugs. Fentanyl seizures in the 1st 5 months of 2022 surpassed all of 2021. In 2021, the CDC says that more than 107,000 Americans died from drug overdose, with 75% of those involving an opioid. That's the highest number ever, and a 15% increase over 2020. Hold onto your hats when we get the final 2022 numbers.

The border is a federal responsibility. But we have no responsible people in the current federal administration.
