Well......that might just do us in. I am not going to run around Mesquite with our little one. We might just be skipping the event this year.

Last year we waited a little too long to book a room too, and didn't get to stay at the Hampton. But we found a hotel that was only about 5 miles away, so it wasn't too bad. There is both a Holiday Inn and La Quinta nearby. We stayed at the Fairfield a little north of there.

We are all in for Friday nights dinner, the show on Saturday, and the banquet Saturday night...We got the CHL forum table pretty much occupado...Maybe one seat left...If we are lucky and get a surge, it could spill over to another adjoining table...Who knows...

Now for the fun part...Y'all are going to luv this...Here's my plan...and shhhhhhh, don't tell "Wife Unit"...

Since I have Friday off, I'll drive up with our stuff...That way she can hop a quick flight on an unmentionable carrier to Love Field that afternoon because of her school schedule...

Now here's the fun part...

Single seat, one-way ticket, no bags, cash payment...

I wonder if she'll fit the profile???

Now if she's bold, she might have a very small check-in bag...You know the essentials...Plus a declared firearm...

I think that will set off the alarms from here to Christmas, what do y'all think???

Hey, she's hip to the idea...

I know, I'm such a stinker... :anamatedbanana :smilelol5: "rlol"

That's hilarious. just make sure it's a throw-away gun in case they confiscate it for "official" purposes. :waiting: :
And I hope everyone is planning on spending some time at our TexasCHLForum_Booth that we had last year (and I'm presuming from a previous post) and will have again. Always nice to put some faces to (pseudo)names.

course, that is if we will have some space to move around with all the AR hunters lurching about
