As of 1230 today (8/10) the WM on El Dorado had 45 auto 100 ct WWB, 40 S&W 50 count, 9 mm, .223 100 round packs, .308 in stock. They were down to 1 box of .45 but have several of the rest.

NOW you tell me. :banghead: ( ;-))

I used to go to Wallyworld several times a week. Recently when I've gone I've been getting the "you should have been here an hour ago" speech.

..and I really need some 45ACP!

I bought two 100 ct boxes of .45 for a friend who told me to buy him some anytime I see it in stock. If he doesn't want them then you can have them for what I paid for them (I am assuming you are in the Houston area). It is so tempting to go crazy when they have ammo in stock. I have spent $150 in the last week on ammo so I had to refrain myself. WM has the lowest prices I normally see so when they have it I feel compelled to buy.

:iagree: , I must regain control of my :fire emotions. What I really need is a couple thou of large pistol primers, not more ammo.

Did you mean .308 or .380?

.308, I did not see any .380. I mention .308 since i know some people shoot PTR's, AR10's and FAL's.

A friend went to the gun show at the Mesquite Rodeo grounds last weekend, said ammo was every where and prices were down. The vendors were tellng him the supply crunch was over for now. Apparently gun prices are also starting to fall.

That's exactly what a salesman behind the counter told me at Winchester Gallery(Ft.Worth) in early May....that the crisis crunch will be over by late July or by mid August.
