For over three years, I've carried an IWB single-stack (.45 ACP), double-mag holder from TT Gunleather.

I cannot be more pleased with the material or the craftsmanship.

Mostly I just carry a spare gun instead of a spare mag.

But this is a Mag holder I use occasionally...it's a Fobus Paddle Mag Holder.

I carry a small neoprene pouch in my left front pocket holding a spare magazine for my LCP when that is the only gun I am carrying. I want more than 6+1 on the smaller .380 round. The pouch was for one of those little digital voice recorders and works great.

As for Comp-Tac, they are coming out with a new design of a tuckable magazine holster. I have one of the prototypes for a double stack Glock magazine. It is a great concept. Now I can wear my Comp-Tac with my Glock, and the extra magazine and tuck it all in. I regularly wear shorts and golf shirts and nobody notices that I have both on. I find that it also helps balance out the weight on my belt and help one side not ride lower than the other. Keep checking their site and when it is out, get it!

I found a simple canvas pouch at Acadamy that works great. I have a single mag & double mag version. It has a velcro flap that covers what's it's holding so even if your IWB is tucked, your ammo is hidden.

It's over in the isle with all the cheap holsters and such. The single was less than $10 and the double was around $15.00.

The first set I got was the Uncle Mike's brand but I don't think Acadamy carries Uncle Mike's anymore. What I have now is a knock off. The first set I bought from Acadamy (Uncle Mike's) actually wore out. The seams came undone and the business end of the ammo was starting to poke through. This last set I bought a couple years ago is actually lasting better but I don't remember the brand.

Here's the link that shows a picture.

Bianchi makes double mag carriers that can be worn horizontally or vertically.

Depending on the mag and your manner of dress, many folding knife sheaths will disguise a mag as a knife.

I just throw it in a pocket. I am just happy to actually carry most of the time (outside of work).

Thats what i am doing now. The problem i have been having is that my pocket is a little loose and the mag shifts all over the place and never stays upright. plus now its getting hotter and sweat is absorbing through the pocket and getting my magazine and ammo wet. This is why i thought i would start shopping for some pouches.

That pouch is slick. Do you thing that would be bulky in a pocket carrying a glock 23 mag?
