Plano gun show this weekend. Dissapointment for me. :-(
Went to the Plano Gun show that took at the Plane Center. It was small and not packed at all. I've looked at some of the Glock prices and for Gen 3 there were a few good prices on new guns but to my disappointment I couldn't find even one vendor to install night sights on my G21.

Oh! I meant to go to that, but forgot and went to the state fair instead. It's probably just as well, though. Otherwise I might have bought something.

I agree. That was by far the worst gun show I've ever attended. Unfortunately, it will probably die out and won't be seeing any future Plano gun shows.

Do you normally see gun smith guys at gun shows doing work? I don't think I have seen that around Houston, but maybe I never looked for it.Zoti wrote:Went to the Plano Gun show that took at the Plane Center. It was small and not packed at all. You might call around to local gun shops instead.

I was really happy to see a show come to Plano, but it just doesn't get the attention or the deals/dealers it needs to stay. I'd like to see it stay, but sadly, I don't think low attendance is going to go over well.

All the other ones I've been to had at least 2. Gun shops are charging so much. I had night sights installed for $75 at the gun show.MechAg94 wrote:Do you normally see gun smith guys at gun shows doing work? I do some of my own sights. I have taken several pistols over to Euless for them to install the sights and I never paid more than $28.00 plus tax.Zoti wrote:All the other ones I've been to had at least 2.
